About Partners

Partners Imaging Centers is owned by the founding partner radiologists, Dr. Richard M. Goldberg and Dr. Roman Rozin.

Beautiful Gulf Coast of Florida where Partners is locatedThe first center was opened in Sarasota, Florida.  Sarasota is located on the west coast of Florida just south of Tampa and St. Petersburg.  It is a beautiful area blessed with good weather, white beaches, and a growing community. Partners Imaging Centers is one of the most successful outpatient radiology practices on the west coast of Florida

In January 2015, the original imaging center in Sarasota was expanded substantially, thereby creating a diagnostic imaging ‘super center’.  This center is one of the largest single center imaging centers in the USA with three MRI’s, PET/CT, Nuclear Imaging, 64 slice CT, X-Ray, Ultrasound, 3D Tomo mammography and bone density.

“We’re delivering outstanding image quality with subspecialty radiologists that support a complete range of clinical applications, including neurology, orthopedics, body imaging, angiography, breast imaging, oncology and a number of specializied procedures,” says COO Nigel de Wit.

Partners Imaging Centers will remain one of the Gulf Coast’s only radiologist owned and operated facilities.  Partners Imaging maintains some of the most modern and powerful diagnostic equipment available from Siemens to ensure the highest quality images.

The Partners Philosophy

Medical imaging… it all begins with a proper diagnosis. It often determines if therapy should be started, if the patient is responding to therapy, or whether it should be continued or changed. It can determine if surgery is necessary and provides the surgeon with a needed road map to plan his surgery and what to expect. It evaluates whether a disease or injury has recurred, if past surgery or treatment has led to other problems, or if there is a completely different, unrelated problem.

3T and 1.5T wide bore MRI'sOften, the patient has one chance to arrive at a proper diagnosis through medical imaging. If the diagnosis is not made, is wrong, or if other important findings are not mentioned in the report, it can lead to improper or inadequate treatment. At Partners Imaging Centers, our radiologists are trained and experienced in a sub-specialty body system that ensures that the patient gets the best possible chance for a complete and accurate diagnosis.

At Partners Imaging, we have the most up-to-date, advanced scanning equipment to provide optimal diagnostic images and have the knowledge of how to use the equipment. To arrive at a proper diagnosis, we realize the importance of having radiologists design fast and accurate scan protocols, properly position the patient’s anatomy, and decide when and how to use contrast material based on each patient’s clinical history and symptoms. Most importantly, we are knowledgeable of the wide variety of normal variants and pathologies for a given body system, how this presents on a scan, and how it relates to the patient’s symptoms. That only comes with proper training and experience.
