About Us
It started with a need for
Better local radiology.
In 2006, two radiologists banded together to create a local Sarasota-based imaging center with patient care in mind. This desire led Dr. Richard M. Goldberg and Dr. Roman Rozin to become founders of Partners Imaging Centers; one of the Gulf Coast’s only radiologist-owned-and-operated imaging facilities.
The first center opened in Sarasota, Florida, a rapidly growing city on Florida’s Gulf Coast. By January 2015, the center had expanded so significantly it was termed a diagnostic imaging “super center.” Today, the Sarasota center is one of the largest outpatient imaging centers in the United States featuring state-of-the-art, latest-generation equipment and upgraded software, including:
- Three Siemens MRI scanners
- Siemens PET/CT scanner
- Nuclear SPECT imaging
- High-speed 64-slice CT scanner
- Digital X-Ray
- General and vascular ultrasound
We also offer a dedicated Women’s Center with an ACR Breast Center of Excellence designation that offers:
- Screening and diagnostic mammography
- Breast ultrasounds and biopsies
- DEXA bone and body composition scans
At Partners Imaging Centers, each of our radiologists are sub-specialists, which ensures patients receive the best possible chance for an accurate diagnosis. Our team works together to make the best treatment decisions with our patients in mind; upholding our founder’s original goal to continuously strive for the highest quality patient care.
Our Mission
We believe imaging should be simple. It’s our mission and promise to help our patients feel comfortable by using the highest-quality technology and upholding our dedication to care.
The Partners Philosophy
Medical imaging begins with a proper diagnosis. This determines if therapy should be started, how the patient is responding to therapy or whether it should be continued or changed. It can determine if surgery is necessary and provides the surgeon with a necessary road map to plan surgery and what to expect. It evaluated whether a disease or injury has recurred, if past surgery or treatment has led to other problems, or if there is a completely different, unrelated problem.
Often, the patient has one chance to arrive at a proper diagnosis through medical imaging. If the diagnosis is not made, is wrong, or if other important findings are not mentioned in the report, this can lead to improper or inadequate treatment. At Partners Imaging Centers, our radiologists are trained and experienced in a sub-specialty body system that ensures the patient gets the best possible chance for a complete and accurate diagnosis.
At Partners Imaging Centers, we have the most up-to-date, advanced scanning equipment to provide optimal diagnostic images and have the knowledge of how to use the equipment. To arrive at a proper diagnosis, we realize the importance of having radiologists design fast and accurate scan protocols, properly position the patient’s anatomy, and decide when/how to use contrast material based on each patient’s clinical history and symptoms.
