The exam is performed without an endorectal coil and provides high resolution anatomic imaging along with functional parameters. After the scan is complete, the images are then transferred to application workstation where post processing software (with computer aided detection) is used to complete the read. A highly detailed report, including color images, is provided to the referring physician or urologist once the scan is complete. These images are immediately made available using the Partners physician portal.

Dr Richard Goldberg is the exclusive reader of prostate cases for Partners Imaging Centers. He has practiced body radiology for more than 30 years and has a special interest in prostate imaging. Men travel from all of the USA and overseas to Partners Imaging Center in Sarasota when they are concerned about or have been diagnosed with prostate cancer.

Partners works with a number of local urologists that perform targeted biopsies of the prostate. In some cases, Dr Goldberg will contour the prostate and select regions of interest (ROI) so that a more targeted approach to a biopsy can take place using a fusion technique.

Partners accepts most insurances and can offer a self-pay price if needed.

Partners has a dedicated website to Prostate Imaging.   Please click here to view the website.
